Over a decade ago
Deliverance Minister and Paranormal star Bill Bean told the world his story in
his autobiographical book Dark Force. So chilling is his story
that it was featured on A Haunting in
the 2006 “House of the Dead” episode and has been retold numerous times. Bill
has experienced the kind of paranormal activity that is usually only seen in
the most frightening of horror films. And now his story will be the subject of
one.
Bill Bean’s
autobiographical book, Dark Force, is finding its way to
the big screen. Contracts have been
signed and Award-winning screenwriter and director Michael McClendon has
begun work on the screenplay. McClendon wrote and directed STAND YOUR GROUND
which is breaking records and selling out on many major outlets such as amazon.com
and walmart.com. As screenwriter, McClendon's scripts have recently won
awards from the World Series of Screenwriting, Beverly Hills Screenplay
Contest, Indie Horror Film Festival, New York Screenplay Festival and
more. McClendon promises that the film version of Dark Force will satisfy
fans of the book, but will also hold some surprises from Bean's past that were
withheld from the novel.
Deliverance Minister Bill Bean will be working closely with McClendon on the screenplay and asserts "I'm very excited and honored to be working with Michael McClendon, and
I have no doubt that he will write a compelling account of the events that took
place in the house."
This is a story that begs to be told. When asked what would make this story interesting to a larger audience Bill Bean stated "People will want to see this movie because it
not only involves demonic torment, but it also involves important issues such
as poor health, alcoholism, domestic violence and financial hardships."
